Summer was brought to life on the rooftop of Sydney’s The Darling at The Star last night as Chandon and TALULAH came together in conjunction with Vogue Australia to launch the summer season and TALULAH Cruise collections.
On the
rooftop of the luxury Hotel a beautiful summer cocktail party unfolded, with a
TALULAH runway parade featuring key styles from TALULAH Swim and TALULAH RTW
set amongst a décor of Poolside Luxe glamour; potted palm trees, peacock
chairs, poolside runway, white paper lanterns and striped Chandon ping pong
tables.
A guest
list of Editors At Large from key media, bloggers, A-list celebrities and
TALULAH Creative Director Kelli Wharton sipped Chandon, sampled summer style
barbequed canapés and listened to the sounds of Summer beats mixed by guest DJ
presented by Chandon.
“It was
a fantastic night that came together wonderfully through a synergy of the three
brands.” Commented TALULAH Creative Director Kelli Wharton. “The poolside
runway parade was a brilliant way for us to welcome summer – a fabulous
combination of bright swimwear, beautiful models, splashes of prints and
up-beat sounds of summer!”
The
evening showcased signature pieces from TALULAH’s High Summer collection lines
presenting neon brights, dreamy florals, structured swimwear and silk jumpsuits.
TALULAH RTW Runaway Lover in conjunction with TALULAH Swim Waiting For The Sun
invites its wearer on a majestic Hawaiian escape where statement holiday pieces
in soft silks, playful silhouettes and splashes of colour evoke images of balmy
holiday nights and sunset soirees.
The two High
Summer collections extend on the aesthetics that premiered in TALULAH’s summer
line in August 2013, with celebrated geometric prints, splices of sequins,
watercolour florals and splashes of neon.
The new High
Summer range will be available online at the TALULAH eBoutique www.talulah.com.au from November 2013, in line
with the launch of the new TALULAH website, and at selected David Jones stores
and specialty boutiques.
