The collection contradicts through clever fabric and colour combinations, yet maintains an aesthetic of elegance that is carried effortlessly through each of Kelli Wharton’s Ready-To-Wear designs. The new line conjures images of elegant summer evenings, tropical sunsets and warm mornings by the ocean shore. Art of design and production is brought to life within each garments in the quality of its finish, fabric selection, detail and prints; watercolours, liquefied heliconias, hand drawn florals and photographed lace. Signature features of the collection include detailed piping, spliced sequins, monochrome and refined lace combined with soft silks. The collections’ dresses also feature a flattering and luxurious silk shell and internal lining of bonded silk offering a sculptured and sophisticated look, rarely pieced with bold graphics.
